Station 28 responded today to a reported brush fire caused by downed power lines.  High winds likely contributed to the failure of the power lines.  The high voltage lines in addition to starting a brush fire also likely started a fire within a nearby garage.  Due to the high voltage in the area crews established defensive operations around the garage to protect nearby structures including a house.  The fire was later extinguished once PECO had secure the power in the area.
