Firefighters Respond on Dwelling Fire and Vehicle Rescue
Firefighters from station 28 were dispatched at 1241hrs this afternoon for a dwelling fire on the 200 block of Derwen Road. Pipeline and Tower 28 were on scene in minutes quickly locating a fire behind a washer and dryer in the basement. WeberbrbrAt 1711hrs Firefighters from Station 28 along with Rescue 22 Belmont Hills and Rescue 21 Penn Wynne were dispatched to a vehicle rescue near the intersection of Levering Mill Road and Rolling Road. Rescue 22 and Pipeline 28 arrived shortly after dispatch with Rescue 22 handling vehicle extrication and Pipeline 28 standing by in case of fire. Utility 28 arrived on scene and handled traffic control.
