MEMBERS TRAIN ON NEW AIR PACKS

The Lower Merion Fire Department recently completed upgrading all 6 fire companys air packs SCBAs. The new units are MSA FireHawk 4500psi models with a face piece heads up display to show firefighters how much air is remaining and a 75 foot escape rope located in the waist band. In addition station 28 secured the modifications necessary to hook the air packs into the air system on board Tower 28 for long duration operations.
