RIT Response to 25 Local

pFirefighters from around Lower Merion awoke early this morning at 0327 for a reported dwelling fire on the 200 block of Linwood Ave in Ardmore. With reports of a front room on fire and units arriving on the scene with heavy smoke showing station 28 was added to the assignment as the RIT team. Utility 28 responded to the scene and was quickly in place and ready for deployment. A group of quick thinking and hard working fireman from Station 25 Ardmoreand Station 21 Penn Wynne brought the fire under control in a matter of minutes.
