Station 28 Recognized as PA State Participating Department

Station 28 was recently recognized by the PA State Fire Commissioner as a participating department in the states voluntary certification program.nbsp This program encourages volunteer fire departments to train its members to a minimum of Firefighter I.nbsp The Union Fire Association was awarded the silver level of participation for having at least 75 of its active members certified to the Firefighter I level.nbsp Many of our members also have advanced certifications such as Firefighter II Fire Officer Fire Instructor Hazardous Materials and Rescue.
