Drill: V.E.I.S. & Forcible Entry
Every week UFA personnel participate in a company level drill. This week, members trained on Vent – Enter – Isolate – Search (V.E.I.S.) and Forcible Entry at the LMFD training grounds. V.E.I.S. is a method used as a primary search technique for rescue and forcible entry is a method of gaining access to hardened targets of a structure (such as: reinforced doors, gates, window security bars, etc.)
