Commercial Structure Fire: 3rd Due

Today at approximately 12:30 hours, Ladder 28 was dispatched to the 1700 block of Oakhill Terrace for a commercial building fire. Chief 22 arrived on location to find a two-story, type V, multifamily dwelling with fire showing from an attached utility closet and smoke from multiple exposures. Chief 22 established Oakhill Terrace Command and transmitted the Lower Merion working fire dispatch. Ladder 28 arrived on scene, assisted 22 personnel with laddering the building and checking exposures for extension. Due to the quick initial fire attack by Ladder 22 and Engine 24, the fire was brought under control within the first 10 minutes.
