Community Outreach: Fire Prevention & Life Safety Education

Throughout the year members from the Union Fire Association visit local schools and businesses for fire and life safety education. Recently, members visited the Bala House Montessori School, Chabad of the Main Line, the Goddard School, the Bala Cynwyd School for Young Children, and Saint Matthias School. Crews from Engine 28, Pipeline 28, and Ladder 28 conducted apparatus tours, public safety demonstrations, discussed fire prevention and life safety education throughout Bala Cynwyd and Merion.
