Firefighters respond on CO Poisoning

pFirefighters from station 28 were called to the 100 block of Conshohocken State road this morning for a reported CO poisoning in an Apartment Complex with multiple victims. Pipeline 28 responded to the scene and found high readings of CO throughout the building. Crews quickly searched all units in the building for any remaining victims while other personnel worked to secure the malfunctioning heater in the basement. Medics from Narberth Ambulance worked rapidly on the pediatric and adult victims and called for additional units to assist. Firemen from Belmont Hills Fire Company worked closely with firefighters from 28 in the effort.
