The Union Fire Association of Lower Merion would like to congratulate Lieutenant Arman J. Force, Deputy Chief David J. Staffieri, and Firefighter Jonathan Kaye on their recent achievement. These men have been published in Fire Engineering – the world’s leading fire and rescue magazine. This week marks the first publication in a monthly series, in which they discuss and highlight the unseen dangers that face first responders in today’s modern fire service. Their series aims to combat the experience gap of those retiring and those coming up through the ranks. More importantly, to help uncover those hidden dangers ever present in an all hazards department and provide the tools necessary to expand a company’s training arsenal. With the goal of providing relevant and realistic training in-person and online to all personnel.
